Raam Map

Raam Map

Raam is one of the ancients city-states of Athas. It's now a troubled city, beset by strife and famine.

Location[]

Located into the Tyr Region, at the east of Urik and southwest of Draj, it is about 25 miles north of the Sea of Silt.

History[]

Shortly before the day of the Great Earthquake in Free Year 10, the Sorcerer‐Queen Abalach‐Re was killed in battle with Sadira of Tyr. When the news reached Raam, it was the spark that ignited the fires of anarchy, and now Raam burns. But time ago Raam was a city on the brink of revolution, even before the death of its queen. Since Abalach‐Re’s death, the city has collapsed into chaos. Various factions have grabbed whatever power they could, and Raam teeters on the brink of civil war.
