Bards are known for many talents, song writing and storytelling, but on Athas these skills are inconsequential to their ability to kill.
General Description
Athasian Minstrels differ drastically from their arcane counter-parts the bard. Many are masters of assassination and crafting poisons.
Unwelcomed Guests
It is considered bad luck to be unkind to Athasian Minstrels. Not just superstition, many minstrels have been known to murder nobles who criticize their craft or deny them shelter for the night. This is a bonus in many ways, for one there is no need to pay for room or board at night. For another, it helps to get close to elusive targets.
